Silverfish: Aren't they one of the most sinister and unpleasant of household pests?
Their speed, sly nocturnal nature, slimy and shiny body, etc. yuk, yuk, yuk?
They tend to live where there is damp under rocks and logs etc, but will visit your home for food, they will feast on cardboard and paper items,etc, they usually head for baths or basins for a source of moisture, if you find them localised then use moth balls to deter them. hey it could be worse! they are nothing compared with woodworm, deathwatch beetle and wood boring weevil!
