Pest Control or Do-It-Yourself?

I am going to be moving into a place this weekend and when I was shown the place there wasn't really any bugs but I was given the keys early after signing the lease and since I've been back there is a huge roach infestation there. I cleaned, sprayed, set traps, and bombed. Went back again to turn on electricity and the roaches were still all over kitchen appliances bathroom garage etc. I have read about the boric acid/sprays etc. Want professionals but don't want 2 spend for pros. Want problem eliminated. Any suggestions?
I am renting and in the copy of the lease there is something about everything EXCEPT pest control. I don't want to get started on the landlord as far as him trying to talk his way out of every thing and not being reponsible.
ps. will spend for professional but don't want 2 if I don't have 2.

If the infestation is as bad as you say it is, it will require the services of a professional exterminator. The problem will be who is to pay the bill. If it were me, I would never move in a place infested with cockroaches and I would demand my deposit and any rent back. I would file a lawsuit in small claims court if I had to.

Good luck with your problem.
