do people still use the old method of getting rid of vermin using terriers?
i was just wondering if people still use the old rat dog services- where someone comes out to your house with there ratting dogs and kill the rats. im assuming they dont since this is a very old method and theres cheaper products and services to get rid of vermin nowadays. it would be good to see if someone still does this service.
Yep. There are a whole bunch of terrier and dachshund people in the U.S., that still do this service. We frequently do barn ratting, we've cleaned out a friends' place who was having trouble with rats and didn't want to put down poisen because of her dogs. We will also happily take care of groundhog or fox problem.
We always making a connection with someone who is having a problem with vermin or nuisance animals. This give us a chance for our dogs to work, like they were bred to do.
