Insect fogger: uses

An insect fogger is a machine that repels insects by creating a fog from the insect repellant. This machine is capable of driving away insects and pests like spiders, fleas, ticks and cockroaches almost immediately. Besides this, it can also target flying pests like mosquitoes, gnats and flies. Insect fogger is an extremely effective indoor application and even if one uses it for the outdoors, it helps in driving away the mosquitoes very effectively.

For smaller areas, pyrethrin aerosol can suffice but for larger areas, one would require larger machines. Pyrethrin aerosol is one of the safest substances to be used, be it around kids, plants or even pets. In fact it also disperses pretty quickly. Insect foggers can be either electric foggers, thermal foggers or cold foggers. The thermal fogger is great for outdoors but is deemed unfit for indoor usage. It helps to create the mist with the help of the insecticide. This mist takes the form of smoke as it emanates from the machine. A cold fogger is a machine which does not use heat to create the fog. This can be used for both outdoors and indoors and is cleaner than the former.

With the spread of various insect driven diseases, insect fogger is a machine which should find its place in every household. Insects are dangerous to the health and safety of your family. For outdoor purposes one can use either a thermal or a cold fogger. A good insect fogger must assist in keeping the area free of insects and bugs for hours. It should have a self starting ignition switch and must be light and portable. The other requirement of an effective insect fogger is that it should emanate fog which not only disappears quickly, but also must not leave behind any residues.
