when shoud I intoduce a live squirrel to a squirrel dog?
I have a young dog i am wanting to make a squirrel dog. he is about a year old. how should i go about training him to tree squirrels? Should i just trap a squirrel and turn it loose and let him chaise it right away or should that wait till later in his training? how should i do this?
I would trap one and let him see it through the cage then turn them both loose,if he is a good hunting dog he will know what to do
