Why do I have mosquitoes in my potted vegetable plants?
Ok, so I started a potted vegetable garden on my SCREENED in porch so I didn't have to worry about pests. Of all things I never thought that i would have a mosquito problem?! There is no standing water out there, I don't know where they came from, unless there were somehow eggs in the soil and or fertilizer I bought at home depot?
Any suggestions for help on how to get rid of them? And where they came from??
They are like, hanging out in all the pots, and when I water the plants, they go flying everywhere. It's horrible, I almost want to put all the plants outside of my patio, I don't know what to do!! Thanks in advance for any help!!!
they love standing water...you must drain any excess water out of your pot.
