should a housing assoication inform you before you move in that they are aware of vermin in the property?
I recently did a mutual exchange (4months ago) i have noticed vermin in the garden and they are now in the house. The housing association was aware that there was a rat problem but allowed me and 2 very small children to move in and never informed me. There was 6 calls to pest control made by my landlord within the last 6 months. Did they have any obligation to tell me?
They do not tell you, whether it a local authority or housing association, believe me i know. You could try the law, see what a solicitor could come up with.
