Need help identifying household bug!?
I see them in the bathroom on the linoleum coming out from under the trim and going back underneath it. They are very small, maybe 1/4". They do not have visible pinchers, antennae or any other appendages. They MAY have legs but they are not visible. They look like tiny slugs but move very quickly when startled. Are sort of a grayish color and are teardrop shaped.
What the heck are they and how do I get rid of them?!
I have been looking on the internet and I don't see a picture of a water bug that looks like what is in my bathroom.
It's possible it could be silverfish. I haven't seen any antennae but they are so darned tiny I could have missed it.
It does sound like a water bug, You can try like I have with good results, get some of the original "Blue Dawn" and mix it 50/50 with water. Good for bee's and spiders too.
