Green Pest Control
With the go green campaigns running, organic pest control may be something you are interested in. Let's be realistic: you need to protect the water and your family, but you also need to kill those bugs. Your "green" thumb only goes so far! Organic products are deadly for bugs, but not for you. These products can be effective against pests while also keep water systems, humans, animals, and homes safe. Many of them are all natural pest control products and they do work in some situations. There are times when a serious infestation may justify using the most powerful pest control products out there. Other times, you may want to find organic pest control that is effective without being deadly to you, too.
Why Use Eco Friendly Pest Control?
Why not just use your dependable chemical based toxins to kill those pests? When you use natural pest control, you avoid the chemicals that can lead to a number of unwanted situations. Pesticides and health complications have been directly correlated. For instance, cases of birth defects, Parkinson's, infertility and even some forms of cancer can be attributed to the use of pesticides. However, these products do more than just affect people. Polluting water, air and soil are just a few things that can be damaged over the long term. Animals that are harmless, can also be affected.
But Do They Work?
Is there any point? Will these products really deal with pests once and for all? Will they take care of the problem permanently or will you still be scared of random crawlies on your arm? Years ago, the first organic pest control products really did little to help the homeowner to help see a significant reduction in infestation. Today's items, however, are of far better quality. Most home improvement stores will stock all natural pest control products. These products can accomplish many of the goals you have including:
- Protecting plants from insect infestation, including protecting gardens
- Kill off invading pests in your home
- Repel bugs from you, too.
Be aware! You should be aware that there are companies just looking to make a dime! Before investing in any of these products, be sure you learn as much as you can about them. Most of them are fully reviewed in some form online. You can also ask the exterminator you hired for more information. In fact, if you are hopeful in using organic pest control that is highly effective, one of the best places to get it is through your professional exterminator. Professionals will have the tools and time to help get rid of a varying number of pest problems within your home using all natural pest control products. Be sure to ask your exterminator if they offer any "green" pest control solutions. Let them know clearly that you want to use green alternatives to kill bugs. Yes, you do want to kill those bugs, even if doing so breaks some of the "go green" rules!
