The Union Home Minister, Mr P.Chidambaram & Minister for Tourism, Ms. Ambika Soni presented the National Tourism Awards (2007-08) to Mr. Rajiv Kaul, Sr. Vice President ,The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts at a ceremony in New Delhi on February 24, 2009.

We use eco friendly chemicals like Herbal pesticides for pest control as well as use waste flower & dry leaves as manure. The waste water is treated in house in sewage Treatment plant & is used for watering our garden. Cold fogging is done instead of Thermal fogging for mosquito control to name a few.

Recently The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences conferred on me The Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of my contribution as a visionary environmentalist.
