Looking for a humane way to get rid of mice in the walls of my house.?
I just moved into a house with a mouse infestation. The mice are in the walls. I'm going to be doing some renovations, so I'll be able to remove the drywall and clean out a lot of the problem areas. I'm thinking of using electronic rodent deterrents and humane mousetraps, but I'm also thinking that maybe I could leave something in the walls (maybe mothballs) that would keep the mice from coming back, once I close up the walls again. Any ideas? I have a toddler and pets, so I'd prefer not to use poison (I'm also trying to avoid having dead mice in the walls). How can make my walls more unattractive to rodents?
