anyone have any good, proven, organic and low-maintenance...?
ideas to repel cockroaches? I already know the importance of good housekeeping, limiting nook, crannies, etc. and am looking for a way to eliminate them without the existing pesticides, traps, etc on the market. I've got an infestation in an old oak tree that I will not cut down, about 12 feet from the house; the tree surgeon says nothing can be done, and the pest control guys just wanna spray of course. I'v e thought about buying a lizard, digging a moat.....I want something permanent. Thanks
Borax or boric acid. You spread it around the baseboards and other places where roaches might be. It gets onto their shell as the crawl through and causes them to dehydrate. It takes some time.
Roaches in an oak tree? Sounds odd to me.
