Mandarin fruit fall off tree early, why?
Hi, I am unsure of trees age but must be at least 7 years old. The tree seems healthy with no fungus or pests.
The fruit seems to fall off early. Sometimes it gets as big as a mandarin should be but will not ripen on the tree. It is always fully green still.
I live in a coolish climate- may snow once to twice a year. and it is now autumn.
I have given it some citrus fertiliser several weeks back but no change yet.
It's called, the wind. You can hear it now... listen... good. You hear that 'WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO', thats called 'wind' and when it's intensity is high enough, it has the probability of knocking fruits and other various objects down. Complicated, yet simple!!!
